Garlic Parmesan Chicken with Pan Roasted Herbed Potatoes and Panzanella - Sunday Dinner 1.0

I know I have said this several times before but this time it's on another level so bear with this last time! This is the best Sunday lunch ever. As a matter of fact we had this for dinner hence the 'Dinner 1.0' suffix in the title.

The plating just came together with all the right components adding the perfect balance. The taste was just incredible. The potatoes were soft and smooth like a perfect mashed potatoes. The panzanella had a great tart taste and the peppers added their unique flavors. The chicken was perfect in its taste, consistency and appearance. The mushrooms were an exceptional compliment with their hint of wine.

The title could not contain all the components of this dish as it would have been far too long, but I can tell you dish consists of

Parmesan Garlic Chicken Breasts
Sauteed Mushrooms in Home made wine.
Dutch Oven Herbed Fingerling Potatoes
Home made Croutons
Red, Yellow and Purple (that's right) Bell Peppers with Cucumbers and Red Onions in a red wine vinaigrette.

What a mouthful!

Slow Cooked Beef with Sauteed Mushrooms and Fettuccine

I am very proud to display my very first recipe developed prepared and plated without assistance.

It began as three hamburger patties being slowed cooked with dried seasonings and garlic and evolved into sauteed mushrooms with fettuccine blanched vegetables and flat bread.

The plating idea just came together on the cutting board and all the pieces literally fell together beautifully.

Already I am thinking of improvements and I can see the next time this dish is done I will use fresh mushrooms sauteed in a beautiful Pinot

Happy Birthday Stacey!

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate this special day than to bake your absolute favorite dessert of all time on your Birthday.

*Happy 31st*

On this great day I remember all the great times we shared, all your inspiration and determination. You were my very best friend and will always be my dearest Baby Sister.

All my love Sweetie!

Sunday Lunch 3.0

It's been a long time since I have posted any new photos as I haven't practiced for almost three weeks because of the worst flu ever.

As the passion slowly returns (as indicated by the poor plating) better meals and desserts will be prepared. This dish features roasted king fish steaks with roasted red peppers and potatoes, cajun shrimp fettucine and garlic spinach.

Donut Muffins

Cinnamon and sugar always creates magic when combined. I followed this interesting recipe that baked rather than fried the donuts. In addition it didnt burden me to create the characteristic shape of donuts as it gave me the opportunity to use my new 'hardware'.

I got the thumbs up from my finicky eating preteen son Ishmael so I knew immediately (if not before) that these were a hit.

For all the purists out there I plan on making the traditional stuff once I get my new hardware from amazon.com.

So look out for version 2.0

Up 'Yours' I'm going back to 'The'

The Pseudo Chef.

Anyone with a problem can speak to my two friends Arnold or Carlito

Re Branding.....Your Pseudo Chef?

Today I consulted almighty GOOGLE to determine if my blog name was unique. To my horror there is someone out there referring to herself as The Psuedo Chef.

%^$#@ Curse you Perry the Platypus!

After uncontrolled bouts of screaming and cursing I quickly recovered with an ingenious decision. I thought why not personalize my appearance to visitors / followers rather than single myself out as the best, the epitome?

Wonderfully all it took was the replacement of The with Your as my intent is that you'll be inspired by my presentations.

I hope someone will offer the same courtesy to me in the future
